PurgatoryIn his car he confirmed his version of me had made him start his drinking,
And then, before I knew it, he had forgiven himself for everything.
We were always the same when I've felt; now he's smiling, defending.
He expands; at home or not, the walls keep choking me, and I'm still breathing.

Having contemplated it for such a long time,
It's become a legand so old it's lost it's rhyme.
When the time finally comes when the universe is level and ready,
Those valuable last moments will seem so cartoonish and unsteady.

What's this thing plastered over my face? A mask? Or maybe the present?

AbsolutelyI can't sense it anymore... is it still out there?

Looking around, I could be anywhere...

....

Now I've at long, long last been swallowed up into the other side,

From that relentless hole in the wall, there's no longer need to hide

And I've realized...that there was nothing there to begin with, and

It was all in my head...just like everything else from my past life. How grand

It is to wander so far astray from yourself, disobey the enemy in there,

And finally let yourself be taken somewhere...

Somewhere nowhere near the inside or within the skin of the body,

And now all the only burden I have to acknowledge is me
